StartVPN and the services it provides may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission, distribution, or storage of any information, data or material in violation of United States or state regulation or law, or by the common law, is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights. StartVPN's services may not be used to facilitate infringement of these laws in any way.

 

What is Shadowsocks?

It is a protocol with added security improvement and packet hiding function based on Socks 5. Compared to the conventional VPN, it is less effected by the internet censorship, is high-speed, and stable communication is possible. More details here


How to renew package?

Package can not be made once it has been purchased. If you want upgrade from 1 Month package to  1 year,please do it when old package expired.


How is my privacy maintained?

When you connect to StartVPN the ‘Tunnel” is created. This is another word for a connection between us and you. All data in this ‘Tunnel” is encrypted so that only you know the content of what is being sent. The data is encrypted to 256 Bits. This is an excellent level of security whilst maintaining good levels of performance, even on older machines and lower powered devices such as Phones and Netbooks.


Where are your servers located?

We have VPN servers located in 30 different locations around the world.


How can I change my password?

Please login to your member center using your username and password. In the field “Password” enter new password and in field “Confirm password” enter confirmation password then click “Update” button. Give our system 2-3 minutes to synchronize your new password.


How can I get support?

Please fill out Contact Us form. We promise to reply within 12 hours on weekdays and within 24 hours on holiday except for special cases.

We offer a 30-days money back guarantee if the services included in your package doesn’t work as advertised.

Important! We do not offer money back in the following cases:

If StartVPN terminates an account due to policy violation.

If the service does not work on devices/OS that are not officially supported by us. We only guarantee that the service works on devices/OS we provide tutorials for. If you have a different device/OS please make sure you test the service before ordering.

If your account is closed because you shared the account or service login credentials.

If the service worked on your original setup but you made changes in your network: changed your ISP, changed modem, lost your access to network setup or changed your computer, phone, device where you have set up the service originally.
